Susan
Havey has over 15 years business management experience that
includes developing and overseeing office systems, facilities
and equipment; setting up and maintaining financial systems and
records; coordinating communication’s systems and external
relations; and providing essential executive support functions.
As Director of Operations she is responsible for the overall
operation of the organization and its financial management. Ms.
Havey serves as a critical point of contact between the
organization and its clients, sub-contractors, vendors and
lending partners. Ms. Havey has extensive experience and
knowledge in the start up, growth and maintenance of various
office systems and supporting structures.
Prior to joining Urban Ventures Group she was employed by the
OMG Center for Collaborative Learning, where she was responsible
for developing and maintaining all fiscal reporting systems,
including accounts payable, project billing, project reports,
and quarterly financials, and for providing the financial
information and materials needed for the organization’s annual
audit. She also assisted the management team and Board of
Directors in developing internal project revenue and expense
reports, and with project budgeting. In addition to her
financial administrative duties, Ms. Havey was also responsible
for OMG’s human resources and benefits administration. Her
personnel responsibilities included hiring, reviewing and
supervising OMG’s administrative staff. She also managed office
operations.
Ms. Havey served for seven years as Business Manager of the Penn
Laurel Girl Scout Council in York, Pennsylvania. She received a
B.S. from Drexel University.
